Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in IT consulting, strategic management, and project management.  She established Arbuckle Consulting Group in 1995 with a view to improving project management practices in IT and other industries.  As a fully certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Stephanie has focused on Project Portfolio Management and the creation and implementation of effective Project Management practices.

This year, Stephanie is thrilled to welcome Ashela Webb as Partner. Now called Arbuckle Consulting – The Open Vendor, the dedication to improving project management practices continues along with an added focus on social and collaborative tools to harness what the web can do for us today.

Stephanie has led project management improvement efforts for biotech companies, engineering firms, web design and educational organizations.  At Cisco Systems in San Jose, California, for example, she designed and managed a Project Management Office (PMO) which focused on improving productivity and agility in the sales force operations area.  By adopting and implementing consistent methodologies and templates, Stephanie helped Cisco establish better channels of communication that created a more effective flow of information to the executives.  In turn, this helped ensure all projects were connected to Cisco’s broader strategy and vision, and performed on time and within scope and budget.

Stephanie has also provided project management training, project management maturity assessments, PMO design and set-up, project management coaching and custom project management methodology development.  It is her firm belief that by helping clients understand and implement the fundamentals of good project management, they are better able to implement strategy and meet with greater success.

Stephanie holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa, and an MA (Science & Technology) from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
